Few words about IMRDF
OBJECTIVES
- 1. To create a healthy environmentally friendly and sustainable best practices in mining operation in Ijesaland
- 2. To develop strategies for stakeholders' advocacy and engagement.
- 3. To evolve public enlightenment and advocacy intervention programmes.
- 4. To optimise the gains of mining in ijesaland for all stakeholders
- 5. To positively affect the behavioral attitude of miners in the practice and management of the mining fields.
- 6. To mitigate the dangers of unstructured mining practices on the environment and the communities.
- 7. To generate employment opportunities for our teeming youths.
- 8. To encourage and integrate ijesas' Sons and Daughters both home and in the Diaspora to participate in ownership of both
- 9. To adopt civilized approach in the mining operations such that will midwife the realization of Ijesa Industrial Park, Gold Processing Centre and Mining School etc
- The overall mission of IMRDF is to advocate the global best practices in mining that provide for all members of the community a safer, healthy and sustainably prosperous outcomes for: COMMUNITY HEALTH, COMMUNITY LAND MANAGEMENT, MINING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, COMMUNITY SECURITY, COMMUNITY CSR, COMMUNITY PATRONAGE IN SUPPLY CHAIN, MINING LINKAGES, ILLEGAL MINING, COMMUNITY SAFETY, COMMUNITY CHAMPIONING ETC.
